Strangefans, Saturday April 3rd will be the last chance to see a “Strangeboys” show. Come out and help us mark this momentous occasion and be part of the next chapter in the band’s evolution. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. with special guest Tim Moxam opening at 8:30 and the Strangeboys at 9:30 p.m. We’d love to see you – come early, Easter weekend curfew at the Drake is 11 p.m. so if you’re late, you’ll miss us. And we’ll miss you too.

Sorry to scare you all… we are not retiring – no way no how. This is just the last show where we will be called ‘The Strangeboys’. Our new name will be announced at the show.

Also, we are thrilled to announce that we will be recording a new cd in early may, to be released this summer. This will be the only show until the release, and all proceeds from it will be put towards the recording and manufacturing for the album.

The Strangeboys are thrilled to announce their annual holiday show in Toronto, happening December 28th at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern. Featuring opening acts by Cool Dad and Cosmic Granola doors open at 8pm with The Strangeboys taking the stage at 11pm. As with years past, we expect this show to sell out quickly so arrive early and enjoy the tunes.

“Shoot First” won the award for Bluegrass/Country Recording Of The Year at the Music Nova Scotia Music and Industry Awards Show November 8 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

We’re pumped for a full weekend of shows in New Brunwick starting with Friday night (September 18) in St. Andrews at The Red Herring. We had a blast last time in St. Andrews during our spring tour, so we hope all you guys come out and tear up the dance floor again. Just like last time, we’re playing Friday and Saturday night with 2 full sets each night.

We’re also very pleased and honoured to announce that we’ll be playing in Fredericton on Saturday afteroon as part of the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival. The show will be at Crumbs Cafe on King St. starting with an open jam from 1 – 4 PM, followed immediately by sets from The Strangeboys and our good buddy Jens Jeppesen.
